Our location
PRONI is located in the heart of Belfast’s historic Titanic Quarter and is only a short walk away from a host of unique visitor attractions, including the world famous Harland and Wolff cranes 'Samson' and 'Goliath' and the Titanic Belfast visitor attraction.

Travelling by Glider
About the Glider Service
The Glider Service is one of the easiest ways to travel to PRONI from Belfast City Centre. The G2 serves Titanic Quarter and, for most of each day, departs every 10 minutes to and from Wellington Place. The service also operates seven days a week.
The nearest Glider stops to PRONI are:
- Odyssey in front of the SSE Arena
- Titanic on the Queens Road, close to Titanic Belfast and Belfast Metropolitan College

From the Glider stops
If you are alighting at the Odyssey stop:
- Walk straight on for approximately six minutes, through the traffic lights and past the Citibank building.
- Take the next left off Sydenham Road onto Titanic Boulevard.
- For the return journey, the glider is located on the opposite side of the road from the SSE Arena.
If you are alighting at the Titanic stop:
- Cross and walk south on the Queen’s Road for approximately 5 minutes
- Once you come across the back of the PRONI building (you should see the logo on the ground floor window), turn left on to the pedestrian lane.
- Follow the lane round to the front entrance of the PRONI building on the left.
- For the return journey, the glider stop is located on the opposite side of the Queens Road next to the Belfast Metropolitan College
Travelling by Metro Bus
About the Metro Bus Service
Metro bus routes 94, 94A and 94B also serve PRONI and Titanic Quarter and all depart from Wellington Place in Belfast City Centre. Times for all three routes and additional stops can be found in Translink's timetable. Please note this service only runs Monday to Friday.
From the bus stop
To get to PRONI:
- Alight at the Odyssey stop at the SSE Arena where the Glider G2 also stops
- Walk straight on for approximately six minutes, through the traffic lights and past the Citibank building.
- Take the next left off Sydenham Road onto Titanic Boulevard.
These routes often have additional stops just outside the Citibank building and on the opposite side of the road for the return journey, which are even closer to PRONI. However, please note that the times for these stops may vary and are not listed on the timetable.
Travelling by rail
Titanic Quarter Station is only a short six-minute walk from PRONI and is a stop on the Belfast to Bangor line. Please be aware that some trains on this line are express trains and will not stop at Titanic Quarter. Once you alight:
- Take the footbridge and follow signs for Titanic Quarter.
- The footbridge will take you to Fraser Street, turn left from here onto Sydenham Road.
- Cross the road and walk for approximately five minutes.
- Take the first right turn onto Titanic Boulevard and you will see PRONI.
If you are using Google Maps, search for directions from ‘Titanic Quarter Footbridge’ as it may take you on a much longer route otherwise.
Travelling by bicycle or on foot
Titanic Quarter is about 1.3 miles from Belfast City Hall, with a walking time of about 25 minutes. Visitors can cross one of three bridges, including the Lagan Weir Footbridge (for pedestrians and cyclists).

There are a number of public bicycle parking facilities on Queen’s Road, located to the rear of the Arc Apartments and at the entrance to Belfast Metropolitan College.
You can also make use of the Belfast Bikes Scheme which offers bikes for rent 365 days a year from 6.00 am to midnight. There are 30 docking stations located throughout the city centre, including a dock at Odyssey/Sydenham Road. Visit the Belfast Bike Scheme website for further details.
Travelling by car
PRONI is located about 1.5 miles east of Belfast City Hall and can be easily reached by:
- Crossing the Queen’s Bridge from the city centre and keeping left, passing the SSE Arena, the Citibank building and taking the next left onto Titanic Boulevard.
- Exiting the M3 Motorway after following signs for Titanic Quarter, turning right at the junction and taking the next left onto Titanic Boulevard.
- Exiting the A2 Sydenham Bypass after following signs for Titanic Quarter, turning left onto Sydenham Road and driving straight on until you come to Titanic Boulevard on the right.
If you are using Google Maps or another satnav for more specific directions, use the postcode BT3 9HQ (Titanic Boulevard).
Parking
On-site parking
PRONI does not currently have any standard on-site parking available. However, there are:
- Two disabled parking spaces for Blue Badge holders, free of charge, opposite the main entrance.
- Six parking spaces on Titanic Boulevard which are pay and display to all, including Blue Badge holders.

Parking at the SSE Arena
There are many parking spaces at the SSE Arena, particularly across the road from the venue. You can visit their website for more information on available spaces and costs.
You can reach PRONI from the main SSE Arena car park by:
- Exiting onto Sydenham Road.
- Walking for approximately 5 minutes past the arena, through the junction and past the Citibank building.
- Taking the next left onto Titanic Boulevard.
Other car parks
There are a number of other pay and display car parks available in Titanic Quarter close to PRONI, including:
- At the Belfast Metropolitan College on Queens Road
- Across from the Titanic Hotel on Queens Road
- The Gateway car park at the Premier Inn on Queens Road
