Visitor Notices
Restrictions to document production service: Work has now begun in preparation for the move to new accommodation for PRONI. Initially we will be closing two stores at a time for a minimum period of one month. During these periods of closure, both staff and the public will not have access to documents in the closed stores, so we will be unable to produce some records. The closures will also have an impact on the delivery of the enquiry/search service. For information on the availability of particular records please contact us at by completing an online enquiry form. See ordering a document for further details.
Restricted Thursday evening service: PRONI regrets that it is unable to operate a full late evening service at present. We hope to restore a full service as soon as possible. See opening hours for further details.
New service: PRONI introduces free Wireless Internet access (WiFi). See frequently asked questions for further details.
Online enquiries: The introduction of the online enquiry service has resulted in a high demand for this service. We ask for your patience whilst we deal with your request and would appeal to researchers not to re-send your messages but to be assured that a response will follow in due course.
