Independent commercial researchers

If you are unable to visit PRONI and PRONI’s search service does not meet your needs, you may wish to hire an independent commercial researcher to carry out research for you.  This is particularly the case if, for example, you want to complete a family tree.
An independent commercial researcher can provide an extensive search service, not only searching in PRONI but also in other relevant archives.
Independent commercial researchers will interpret the sources that they have used and give comprehensive information on the searches undertaken.  Fees and charges for their work vary.
Please note: The commercial researchers listed below do not work for PRONI and we cannot, as a matter of policy, recommend any individual or organisation, nor can we be held responsible for the standard of their work or for any qualification or title they may claim to hold.
