PRONI event at the John Hewitt Bar, Belfast PRONI exhibtion of documents relating to China Talk in the PRONI lecture room
This exhibition was compiled by Dr A.M. McVeigh, PRONI.
Except where otherwise notated, all pictures, images, letters, diary extracts, etc, used in this exhibition are held in the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland. The text has been compiled from a variety of sources including the internet, but the author is especially indebted to Dr Andrew Harrison, who wrote the text of the exhibition catalogue 'Australian Connections' from which several passages have been plagiarised.
Others who came to my assistance - but who can be absolved of all blame - are:
  • Paddy Fitzgerald - Centre for Migration Studies Omagh
  • Brian Lambkin - Centre for Migration Studies Omagh
  • Deborah McArthur - Former PRONI staff
  • Julie McAtackney - Former PRONI staff
  • Aileen McClintock - PRONI
  • Brian Sanaghan - Brisbane University
