Sir,
Having been in your country a few years ago
and married one of your country women I am sorry to say that Death has taken
her from me and now I will join hands with any young irish lady of protestant
Birth Between the age of twenty and twenty five who will volunteer to come
to this Country and bee my bride the same to be of good habbets [habits] of
good forme and vertchaus [virtuous] if you can find one I will pay the extray
expence from ireland to america and pay all expences from New York to Mackinaw City.
